Men's Lacrosse Soars Past Roger Williams

BRISTOL, R.I. - Endicott men’s lacrosse handled the Roger Williams Hawks 22-11 at Bayside Field on Wednesday afternoon.
The game was tight in the first quarter. Endicott opened the scoring in the first minute of the game behind an unassisted goal from Tommy Tysinski. The Gulls extended their lead to 3-1 in the first, but the Hawks bounced back and tied it at three going into the second quarter.
Roger Williams took their first lead of the game just over a minute into the second quarter. Endicott rebounded, scoring three times in the next three minutes to take a 6-4 lead.
The Gulls would not lose the lead the rest of the game. The offense stayed hot in the third quarter, scoring 5 more goals and extending the lead to 6 going into the final frame.
Once the fourth quarter rolled around, the Gulls picked up right where they left off. The closed out the game stronger than any of the prior quarters, scoring a whopping 9 goals en route to their double-digit victory.
The Gulls were paced by a barrage of goal scorers. Cam Fernandez led the way with 6 goals and 2 assists. Tysinski added 4 goals and 1 assist of his own. Nick Graap was the final Gull with a hat trick, recording three goals of his own. Ten Gulls in total scored in the high scoring affair.
Goalies Teagan Alexander and Christopher Tillotson turned away 18 total shots, and Alexander was credited with the victory. Faceoff specialist Thomas Barker dominated, going 23-31 on faceoffs. Barker collected 18 ground balls as well.
With the victory on the road, Endicott moves to 9-3 overall on the season. This conference win moved them to 5-0 on the season, sitting alone atop CNE standings.
Next up for the Gulls is Senior Day on Saturday against Wentworth.
