Men’s Lacrosse Rolls to Senior Day Victory

BEVERLY, Mass. - Endicott men’s lacrosse took down Roger Williams University in a resounding 19-3 victory on Senior Day.
It took the Gulls over five minutes to get on the board, when Andrew Aylwin scored an unassisted goal. In the next eight minutes, Endicott rattled off three more goals, one from Manny Marshall, Nick Graap, and Adam Priest.
It looked as though the Gulls would enter the second period with a 4-0 lead, but Roger Williams managed to find the back of the next with just 2 seconds left in the period, leaving Endicott with a three goal lead.
This did not prove to be the start of a run for the Hawks, as Endicott was able to go on a 7-0 run to extend the lead to 11-1. The Gulls held RWU scoreless for over 14 minutes of the second period, allowing the lone goal with 35 seconds to play in the half, giving them a resounding 11-2 lead entering the second half.
The Gulls controlled the second half, allowing just one goal and scoring eight of their own, leading them to a commanding 19-3 victory.
Graap paced the Gulls with a 6 goal performance. Priest, Marshall, Tommy Tysinski, and Tyler Williams all scored 2 goals each.
It was a superb defensive performance by the Gulls, allowing just 3 goals and 10 shots on goal. Endicott never trailed in the contest.
Seniors Kyle Ando, Andrew Aylwin, Travis Foster, Nick Graap, Aidan Kellachan, Zachary Licavoli, Dom Maldari, Tommy Tyksinski, Tyler Williams, Jesse Woodill, and Matt Wright were all recognized for their outstanding contributions to the program during their time at Endicott.
The Gulls are making a statement in their last two games, scoring a combined 49 goals and making a strong case to be ranked nationally in the upcoming poll.
They look to stay hot as they travel to Biddeford, Maine to play the University of New England on Tuesday.
RWU will look to right the ship as they host Wentworth on Tuesday.
